One of the best …
One of the best thing tracks like Daytona and Talledega ever did was get ride of the grass on the inside of the track. Much fewer flying crashes nowadays compared to the past and alot of it has to do with removing the grass.

Those roof flaps …
Those roof flaps are what keeps the car stuck to the ground. And it’s not plastic. It’s carbon fiber. Used to be aluminum. Either way those roof flaps, no matter how simple, have stopped a lot of serious rolls.
